It will be delivered by FA Coach Educator Andy Ritchie
Date - Thursday 11th February
Time - 7.30 to 9.30pm
Venue - Royal Russell School. Coombe Lane, Croydon, Surrey, CR9 5BX
Theory – introduction and presentation
Practical – practical games from the Futsal level one course and basic defending & attacking match play strategies
“Futsal, which places a large emphasis on technical skill and ability in situations of high pressure, is subsequently an excellent breeding ground for football competencies that can be translated into the normal format of the game”
This session is open for all members of the Surrey Football Coaches Association to attend.
There is no need to pre-book a place, just turn up and we will be there to greet you on your arrival and direct you to the venue for the session.
Although players are being provided for the session, this session is an opportunity for attending coaches to play in the session. Potentially, actually playing Futsal can help us understand the benefits of this version of the game for player development .
We know this is something that many members like to do, so we trust this news is welcome.
Regarding footwear, the surface is an indoor gym.
