Lead Coach Nick Levett – FA Talent Identification Manager

From 6.30pm until 8.30pm

At Fulham FC

The Training Ground, Motspur Park, New Malden, Surrey, KT3 6PT

Nick is the FA Talent Identification Manager. Previous to this he was the National Development Manager (Youth and Mini Soccer), where he conducted the youth development review and implemented the new national structure for youth football that we now work in. The SFCA is a big supporter of the work he did and we are delighted he wants to come and share his new role with us.

Nick has advised “This session will focus on the theory and application of modern talent identification principles and help coaches develop observation skills to support the progression of players. The content will challenge coaches views on what talent and potential really is and help them to consider the importance of psychological aspects as long term talent predictors”.

Nick has also advised “We (the FA) have never delivered anywhere to grassroots or professional game coaches information that will help them understand or consider their role within talent identification. The information I present will help and challenge grassroots coaches, at all levels, to think about this in a different way”.

Please arrive from 6pm. See below from Fulham FC regarding parking.

"Please note car parking is very limited at Fulham FC Training Ground. Please allow an extra 5 minutes to park in the roads around Motspur Park and allow time to walk to the training ground. However, please do not park in the road opposite the entrance as this is a private road. Parking is available in Blakes Avenue. Car sharing would be helpful if you can arrange to come with other coaches"
